The objective of the "Rise Up, St. Pete!" Community Gardening Team is to bring people together for a common purpose creating community pride, yielding healthy fruits & vegetables for residents and providing a sense of accomplishment, service to others in our city & self confidence in themselves. Our teams are comprised of interracial, cross-cultural members from churches and other interested organizations that have an interest in urban agriculture in St. Petersburg, FL.
